Lynne Paris-Purtle

Lynne Paris-Purtle has taught literature and writing for twenty-seven years at Western Connecticut State University and is currently an Instructor in the Department of Writing, Linguistics, and Creative Process. Although she has been writing poetry since she could form letters, she has trouble letting her poems go, and this is her first published collection.  Works in progress include a non-fiction book about parenting and a romance novel with a menopausal heroine.  She lives in New Fairfield, CT with her husband, Mark, and her German shepherd, Maggie May.  Her sons Justin, Joshua, and James are pursuing degrees at Columbia, Yale, and Vassar, respectively.

Dragonfly Wings and The Hole in the Sky, poetry collections by Lynne Paris-Purtle are now in release from The Last Automat Press.  Click on our “Order Books” link for more information.
